ULTIMATE IN LUXURY: BVLGARI SPA
For most of us, a trip to a high-end spa is a luxurious treat — this is taken to the next level at the newly opened BVLGARI Spa in the Bulgari Hotel China. According to Hospitality Design magazine, this 16,145 sf space has been created with classic Italian oppulence in mind. One of the design hi-lights is the 82 ft long swimming pool, pictured below.

What do you see when you look into the future of Hotel Design? We know that sustainability is a critical component, not just in relation to the environment, but in relation to community as well. In reading this piece from Skift, which focuses on innovative and futuristic ideas proposed by architects and designers, it is clear that the future is bright. Our favourite concept? The Play Design Hotel in Taipei, which is a hybrid hotel/art gallery which focuses on creating a sense of community for artists and also showcasing local talent to global visitors.
FITNESS TREND: MULTI-SENSORY EXPERIENCES
Immersive fitness experiences are on the rise — think live music in your yoga class, secret treasure hunts and a focus on engaging all senses while fine-tuning your fitness. Wellness experts Well+Good are reporting that multi-sensory experiences are on the rise in the wellness community. For example, Sweat & Sound events in London offer 'immersive, secret fitness events for music lovers, creative spirits and curious cats', We would love to check this out!
