Wellness Weekly Round-up

Each week we pull together our top articles on the latest in the spa, wellness and hospitality industries.

SOULCYCLE'S NEW FITNESS CONCEPT

Cult spinning studio SoulCycle has launched a new fitness concept called 'SoulAnnex' in NYC's flatiron district, and get this — there are no bikes involved.  This new concept offers 3 new class types: MOVE, DEFINE and ALIGN.  For SoulCycle, this extension is staying true to their mission to do what feels good to the soul.  Given that they have a global audience of over 10,000 riders a day, it's pretty certain this new platform will only add to their cult status.  Click here for the full article from Well to Do Global.

It seems like we're finally getting the hint that a sea of cubicles is as awful to look at as it is to work in!  HR Drive's piece on the movement towards office design with a focus on both branding and wellness shows that the shift is happening.  All employees deserve a safe, healthy and comfortable place to work — keeping this in mind helps to increase productivity, and it all starts with design.  Office designers must consider a mix of spaces for collaboration and quiet work, as well as access to natural light and air quality, among other features.
